The Rock Angus’ autumn ET calving is well underway at “Elouera” with the first calves hitting the ground 16 days before the due date. The expected progeny EBVs for these joinings indicate that the calves will be high indexing, low birth weight cattle with excellent growth, carcase traits and marbling. For the fourth year in a row, we have had no assisted calvings. The emphasis on calving ease and birth weight is starting to pay dividends.
