In 2019, The Rock Angus began an affiliation with The Riverina Anglican College (TRAC) in Wagga Wagga. Trevor Dawson is the head Agriculture teacher and as part of his program, his students prepare steers and heifers for showing at a number of regional shows which culminates in a carcase competition in November. Trevor selected 3 steers and a heifer last January. The students did an excellent job on animal preparation and presentation. Their efforts were rewarded with a strong showing at Cootamundra where they earned ribbons for Grand Champion Female, Champion Junior Female and Reserve Champion Led Heifer. At the Albury Annual Show, the heifer was Reserve Champion on the hoof.
