The Texas trip included attendance at the Beef Cattle Short Course. The Texas A&M Beef Cattle Short Course addresses emerging issues and discusses the latest technologies in beef cattle production. The program has been the leading beef cattle educational event in Texas for 64 years and has evolved into one of the largest in the U.S. It is coordinated by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Beef Cattle Specialists and is hosted by the Texas A&M University Department of Animal Science.
